Rib injury ends Henman's season

If the year starts off as bad as this one did and he continues falling down the rankings, I'm not sure if it will be too long before he stops
.
I hope he does stop, Josh.
But I'm going to be gutted.
He's given an extra bonus to tennis fans for so long now. Aggi, McEnroe, Borg, Becker etc etc were all wonderful superstar champions. Tim wasn't. He was in that slightly lower layer where he was always one of the best, yet not quite a champion.
But HE IS BRITISH!!!
And he was darned good. I truly thought I'd give up my obsession with tennis after he retired....
Not a chance, now. I'm going to follow Andy's career, not obsessively, but WOOT! you cant beat having a Celt to cheer on.
While wishing Tim every good wish, and huge thanks for all the enjoyment and sheer frustrations that we ordinary fans have lived through, ( sorry, I cringed at the Teem fanatics at Wimbledon- I'm not one of the Henmania crowd, ) I hope I can always appreciate brilliant tennis whether it's from a champ, a countryman or, like Fed, the best ever.
:woot: :woot: , I'm speechless now. Looks like we've beaten Argentina in the footie!!!

i'll be gutted when Tim retires, he's been fantastic, ok maybe not the best in the world, but he's been the best in Britain for so long, and he's given us someone to support, through all these years! we will af coarse have andy to follow now :woot: but i think Tim will be greatly missed.
and as for the football
:woot_jump:
we won!!

That's my fault for forgetting to disable guest posting here, it's done now anyway.
