The womens qualifying draw still isn't out, wonder how many we'll have entering. Hope Jamie and Booty are in for the doubles. Now that Andy is laid up maybe Brad will spend sometime with the other British players.

Boggo through to the next round 7-5, 6-1, Bloomfield still to play, Marray is out, beaten 6-1, 6-2. There are 5 girls in the draw, Melanie South, Katie O'Brien, Sarah Borwell, Amanda Keen and Anne Keothavong, I think Elena Baltacha got injured last week as she pulled out of her QF match, wonder whats wrong with Naomi Cavaday she's usually in the mix for the big tournaments.

Bloomfield currently playing. He lost the 1st set 6-2 and it's 4-3 in the 2nd on serve.

Wonder why Alan Mackin isn't trying to get in.
Did he not retire or was that someone else?

Melanie South played and lost in the first round. Katie O'Brien, Sarah Borwell, Amanda Keen and Anne Keothavong are yet to play. And I've just noticed that the qualifying woman's draw only has 96 players where as the mens have 128. Has it always been like that?
Edit: Katie O'Brien is playing at the moment and won the first set 6-4. Second set is 2-3 but Katie is serving.
Anne Keothavong is playing and shes up 7-5 5-2 Woohoo!! Just one more game

O'Brien lost the second set 6-3. C'mon girl your still in it
Amanda Keen just came out on court and is playing the number 18th seed. And is up 2-0 first set
Woohoo!

Katie O'Brien is into a third set, Amanda Keen has broken her opponent but it is only 2-0 in the first so a long way to go yet and yey Anne.

Amanda has lost too, 7-6, 6-7, 1-6 shame she couldn't just hold on in the second set tie break, so that's just one boy and one girl still in the draw. Katie should really have won her match she's very nearly 100 points ahead of the opponent she had. At least they all went to 3 sets though.

Yeah Katie should have won. Seems Amanda must of had a close match then got tired in the third set.
