And where was Jelena Jankovic that certainly wasn't her playing last night.  I think Marion Bartoli will be brought in to replace Serena, I can't see her playing anymore this tournament.

Can someone confirm if Bartoli has replaced Serena Williams? Also, if she did, i think i'm right in saying that Bartoli just takes over Williams results, so she comes in at a disadvantage (thats what happened in the men's two years ago when Agassi got injured...)

I am so annoyed I couldn't watch this match.... it sounds like it was a classic.

Congratulations to Justine though - thoroughly deserved and proves once again she's the best women's player of our time.

Yeah, I really wanted to watch the match too! It sounds like it was a great final and I don't think there are that many of those around on the women's tour!
