My brother goes to T every year but we're in Florida this year. Keep waiting for a headline line-up that'll tempt me enough to spend that money on living in that type of filth for 3 days but have yet to find one.

Festivals are generally awesome, but I can understand people not liking the camping aspect of it. Went to T in the Park in 2006 to see The Who, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Editors, etc etc - absolutely fantastic.
Live music is at its best at outdoor venues IMO.

It's a date, now book those tickets, and I'll pay you at a later date.

As much as I'm not a massive fan of Muse, I would love to see them live.
Yeah, and I'm not going to the festival for the drugs and booze, I just want to see my favourite bands, a few of my friends where going for the "look" wearing the boots, skirts, etc, and it annoyed me, and they've all turned round and said they can't afford it, when I've been saving for it for weeks, so I'm going with some old "into the music" friends.
