Just the right amount of condescension and derision to get my point across, but well mannered.

I find it can wind people up far more effectively than an all out attack, they don’t know how to deal with it Smile

Come hold for the Match Smile

no  It's a sorry day when I'm willing Tommy to lose, but the nearer Andy gets to the goal the more my allegiances are slanting.

After missing the French and the entire grass court season, Andy SO deserves that place in Shanghai. yes

The commentators have said it's a bizarre surface. Hence the reason Andy wanted to give the doubles a go. But as I always say with excuses like this, everyone's playing on the same court!

Although Rodge doesn't really sound like he's blaming the court. Just disappointed it isn't faster.

He didn't say that about Wimbledon and isn't that a slower surface now than it used to be dontknow

I think it's just how different it is to Madrid and Basel.
