Philippoussis ponders retirement
« on: January 07, 2008, 11:09:16 AM »
I know this is old news but I didn't see a thread. It seems pretty clear that now Philippoussis will retire soon and it's quite sad when you think of the impact he could have made in the last couple of years if it wasn't for his injuries.
I've come to like Philippoussis not for his tennis but for the way he was
in the TV show Age of Love
, what a charming young man.

Actually I'm not, did you see him on Age of Love? It's possible he was putting it all on but he seemed a really nice and charming guy.

No I did not see him in the age of love. And nor would I expect any other intelligent human being to have seen it either

Unfortunately when you have a girlfriend these shows tend to be on the box and I usually don't care what's on TV because I'm at my PC. It wasn't such a bad show for that genre and there was some real hot girls in it which almost makes it worthwhile to watch.

Indeed.
But I couldn't watch it. Just like I couldn't watch all those other reality things that go on. Also the soaps. What is it with people. Corre, Eastenders, Brookside, Emmerdale. It's enough to make anyone move 12,000 miles away from that.

Oh I HATE SOAPS SOOO MUCH!!
They genuinely depress me... I don't want to come home to see horrible looking people with horribles accents living in the horrible east end.

Brookside? Where have you been living, it hasn't been on TV for years, I certainly prefer soaps to the inane drivel of reality TV or football, wouldn't be a wonderful world though if we were all the same
