Yeah that's what I was thinking, so many people get straight As that it means very little. And it really pissed me off when he was so proud of getting a 1st in his degree, that also is very common now.

Not in law though, and not from a good university. I think he went to King's, which is top ten in the country, both for law and generally.

There's a vast gulf between academic qualifications and downright common sense though, isn't there?

Loved it when S'Alan said their house used to be a glass factory but now they've converted it into "somewhere for posers like you lot"

Very Happy Ya gotta love him!

I didn't like Alan this time, he was really unnecessarily nasty, especially to Lucinda who was frankly bullied by Alex in that task.

He played it very clever on the after show by being very humble but I'm skeptical whether that was a load of bulls**t.

Yes, I like that!

I think they deliberately choose the dumbest people with some decent qualifications for entertainment reasons and then Alan pre-picks a couple of genuine suitable candidates.

That was a good episode, the interview stage is always the most enjoyable episode.

Alex, I've pretty much felt he was going to win from the start. He seems the only candidate there who is human and who would get along with his fellow employees if hired.
