The European Championships of 2008
« on: June 04, 2008, 09:31:09 PM »
Starts this Saturday with Czech Republic vs Switzerland, and then Portugal vs Turkey later on. Tres excited!
Group A - Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal, Turkey
Group B - Germany, Croatia, Poland, Austria
Group C - France, Italy, Holland, Romania
Group D - Sweden, Spain, Russia, Greece
We had a sweepstake at my work, and I got Portugal so I'll be supporting them primarily as I've got a fiver on them, and I'll keep an eye on Holland and Russia.

Bundesrepublik Deutschland
The only serious choice, three warm games in the group stages and then a cake walk through the knock out stages with cold Germanic efficiency.
I think I start planning the celebrations now

I have more faith in Portugal tbh, Holland's group looks too tough for them.
