The British number one is teaming up this week the number 3, Delgado, in order to help him get his ranking up.
They're first round match has just started.

They lost the first set tie-break 9-7 but they did have a set point.

Oh right, I thought he might have been intending to play with Andy in Indy, but when he withdrew decided to play with Delgado instead but he didn't want to / couldn't due to lack of cash travel to America so played in Europe instead. Your explanation is a lot more feasible.
