Woohoo, Jamie Baker has risen 29 points to 220, he'll soon be GB No.2 if Boggo doesn't start going up soon.  And does anyone know what has happened to James Auckland, he's been steadly going down the rankings I haven't heard him mentioned for ages?

What's Jamie up to? He's drew top seed in his tournament this week didn't he? What's the story with it?

He lost 6-1 6-4, still more good experience for him and I think with a good draw at Wimbledon, such as not facing a seed, he should be able to win his first match.

He's had a couple of early losses in Challengers, but won his first round match in the Barletta Challenger this week.  The problem seems to be he doesn't have a regular partner, as he had most of his successes when he was plying with Huss for a long time or with Ross Hutchins towards the end of last year.

However this is the 2nd week in a row with his current partner so hopefully they can stick together for a little longer to move back up the rankings.  He must be a little unhappy that he was Brit no.1 for so long but never got a look in for Davis Cup places, and now he is down to no.4 I don't know if he will have the drive to match his success from the start of last year and the end of 2006.

Well he got the call ups for DC but just missed out on a match in Glasgow cause Bates thought even a below par Andy would be a better shot.

Aucks, Delgado and Hutchins are all in the doubles draw in Valencia.

Aucks and Delgado play 3rd seeds Levinsky and Skoch. Hutchins plays with Stephen Huss against top seeds Kas and Wassen

Unsurprisingly both pairs lost.

Meanwhile, in attempting to qualify for a Spanish Futures, Rob Dee has equalled the record for 55 consecutive losses cmon yeah
Amazingly he did not get the record to himself!!  shocking
