Well, initially it was made in celebration of their post counts....so the purpose of it was not originally to uncrease post counts....  Wink

Yes indeed. I created this to celebrate my 500th post. And initially it did say not to reply, but as i got to 750 just over 24 hours later it became a bit pointless......So i renamed it. It is a legitimate topic technically, providing people stick to the topic of who is posting lots. I'm only doing it because I am bored, and i do actually have thinsg to say incidently most of the time. (ok like 60%)... Whistle

but they have said they are now just making pointless posts to increase it and anyway since when did the original intention of a thread ever bear ny resemblence to the conversation within in it on mw

That's merely a personal choice, however as you say purposeful posts (more like 85% really) do exist alot. And therefore it's fine. As for topics staying on topic, true that never happens. However, If your saying this is against the rules, technically if a subject goes off topic then it's breaking the rules too.....lol. I'm not sure anyone really minds. Just something to occupy the time with.

Fair enough, it's my fault for working this weekend. MW just starts to crumble. Marks distracted by rafa....who's gonna look after the place!  Wink
