We are allowed to be friends outside MW you know
And besides, I reckon me and Dana have a close similiar relationship to what Mark/Cate and Julia/Andrew have, right chicken?
Why do you take things so negatively. I didn't say Dana wasn't your friend, I just meant that Cate and Mark live together, Julia and Andrew see each other and probably txt when no together. Dana isn't even in the UK, which I why I wondered if/how you were going to be in touch, as did other people. That's all.

I'd just hope Amy and Dana are honest people and Dana won't just put anything she feels like in on Amy's behalf.
To me this seems like you're insulting my judgement on people personalities. Dana is my friend and I trust her. It never came into my mind that Dana would double cross me. I don't see why I should have to give an explaination as to why I picked Dana to post of my behalf.
I don't understand why people are making a big deal of this. I say, Dana will post my predictions whilst I'm away. End off. Theres no rules stating I should have to give more detail than that. And I was only being courteous by telling you all in the first place.

Oh my god learn to read. I never said she would double cross you, I said that if you didn't get in touch, she might just post whatever she wanted on your behalf. Not pick stupid picks, but a second choice of picks by her, not standard ones.
Anyway, you are joining this discussion far to late, Dana already said she was honest about these things, and that's good enough for me.

Also I seem to mind you were one person who wanted to makes rules, yet you totally change your tune when it involves you. People were just asking simple questions and all it took was a relatively simple answer.

I.e. you were VERY quick to change from a "no change to rules" to a "change to rules" and since the result was "leave it as it is" you suddenly drop the support for changing rules, and like I said, it was a simple question. Also, more questions followed from Alex, Mark and myself, because you didn't give a clear answer, just saying "your predictions would be posted by dana" not saying how, if they were yours, or anything. AND you seemed unwilling to disclose methods of contact or method of predictions, it's hardly surprising people were/are suspcious of cheating going on. Do you see?

How the f**k can I cheat? Besides, I thought by saying Dana will
post
my predictions would be obivous that she would actually type the predictions into the thread as I could physically not do it myself. But obviously you, Mark and Alex didn't pick up on that.
And the whole me changing my tune thing? Where have you go that ^ idea from? I changed my mind because it was just so much easier than getting everyone to decide some new rules.

You said no change before it came up THEN mark convinced you to vote for new rules!
And by cheating we meant the following -
1) You don't get in touch with Dana
2) Dana says "must post amy's predictions
3) Dana posts (for example) Fed in 5 Nadal in 3 Djoko in 3 etc etc. NOT standard predictions and NOT your predictions. THAT IS WHY WE ASKED. Do you get it now? You are being slightly slow tonight. Try and read the FULL posts.

I refer to the following
Quote from: alc.aka.amyc on January 06, 2008, 07:49:49 PM
I didn't mean that. I meant if someone posted something like "Look, I'm going on holiday for a week so I would like standard predictions" in whatever thread. So either the mods take thing into account or somebody could offer to post it.
Or just basically, if you aren't here to post your own predictions tough sh*t. Theres more to life than playing RTR
with the changing your mind when it comes to you. If you really meant the above post, you would EITHER says "I'm not here so I will lose
" OR you would give detailed answers to our questions and not make it seem HIGHLY suspcious that dana was posting for you, when you had no contact with her. Follow? It's nothing to do with trusting dana or you, it;s because of the way you answered all our queries about it.

What are you on? Mark didn't convince me. At the time I was thinking about possible rules in my own mind and thought "sod that can't be arsed with it" then changed my mind. So give that one a rest for a start.
Dana and I discussed possible ways of getting my predictions up and we finally came to an accord. We don't have to tell you anymore than that. Where does it say in the rules about "cheating" and getting other people to post for you? Nowhere!! So stop making up rules because you aren't RTR staff.

That doesn't really matter though.

1) You don't get in touch with Dana
Even if she wouldn't, what's wrong with that? We worked out a system if we can't get in touch, that seems fair.

Amy would find out when she came back if I did that. I don't get how that's cheating, I don't know how the scores will be in the end.

What?
I was giving an example of a scenario you tit! Considering the probably the biggest reason why people may not be able to post would be because they are away on holiday!!

Of course you were..... You voted "YES" to banning people posting for you. I already said that it was sorted, then you dragged this up again, because you don't know how to interpret a post!

OMG, stop being so difficult! MY POINT WAS THIS, YOU SAID " DANA WILL POST MY PREDICTIONS" , SEVERAL PEOPLE THEN SAID "HOW?" and THEN YOU GAVE CRYPTIC ANSWERS WHICH MADE US DOUBT THE HONESTY OF YOUR PREDICTIONS PLANS. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? THAT IS ALL I WAS ON ABOUT.
IT's NOT ABOUT RULES IT'S JUST ABOUT BEING DECENT MORAL PEOPLE AND NOT CHEATING. OF COURSE CHEATING IS NOT IN THE RULES ARE YOUR EXPECTED TO PLAY BY THEM.
As for your "system" that sucks, because then it's not ACTUALLY your predictions and I'm sure others will agree.

I don't think you are allowed to post comments in full captials, breaking another rule
And you don't know my system.
And I'm not cheating.

Neil... What's wrong with it? How come we are getting in so much trouble for trying to do the right thing, while others just use each others' accounts and post in each others' names (even though that IS actually cheating).
Anyway, we're doing it this way so Amy doesn't lose too many points, there's no discussion. If anybody thinks it's unfair they're being a bit hypocrite and they can kiss our asses.

What, she's going to make the points?
Look, I already said several times, that all my worry (and others) was that it wouldn't actually be amy's predictions. Especially given she would be in canada. Other people who have posted predictions before have been in UK together, so phone calls or txts haven't cost much, or in the same room and just posted on the one account! If amy can't post her predictions someone shouldn't be able to do it FOR HER if they haven't been in touch. YOu see what I am getting at?

We decided, after the poll, that standard predictions were still allowed; though Mark said posting from one account wasn't. You don't have to worry about our finances, we'll work it out.
This is all a bunch of boo-hockey.
