 Latest series of Top Gear starts here on Sunday  Awesome show, love it. Lol, I'm not even that into cars (only own a corolla), but love this show. Great entertainment. I love the challenges they do, like where they have a certain budget to buy a Porsche and do loads of little challenges, or when they race a car against a plane across Europe etc. One that sticks out for me from the last series was when they turned cars into remoted controlled cars. Had Hammond sitting in the back seat of one, and May (or was it the other way round?) controlling it with a remote control from miles away. Then they got some girl who was a champion remote control car racer, and they had a race with 3 real cars. Awesome stuff. Disappointed I have never seen the famous Gambon lap though that gave the last corner on the track it's name. Who's seen it? What happened exactly? Anyway, who else is a fan?

Me!! Fantastic programme My favourite has to be the race between Jeremy's Bugatti and James' plane across Europe. Classic. I went to see Jemery Clarkson at the Oxford Union - very funny guy - utter legend! I saw a clip of the Gambon lap (I think) I'm pretty sure he went round it on two wheels.... |

Im liking this thread! Top gear is sooooooooo good! Gambon corner was indeed named after Michael Gambon's decision to go round it on 2 wheels!

we actually get this show over here!!! on discovery channel... i've seen a bit... it looks quite cool. i saw a piece of the episode where the guy was like: only dumb people do burnouts. then he got the smartest people in great britain to do burnouts on a track.... it was hilarious...

i adore top gear lol!!! ok let me rephrase that - i love richard hammond because he is only the cutest thing ever!!! i still watch that show religiously even though i dont have a clue what they talk about - brake horse power?? im clueless!!!! x(",)x

Hammond was meant to be at the Union at the same time as Jezza....but he got stuck in traffic coming up from his show in London and had to miss it. He was on his bike. So he would have been in leathers.
