But that would mean Djokovic would actually beat someone like Nadal in the semi final, rather than crumble with 'tiredness.' lol

Federer-Nadal final for a change. Might have gone for Federer-Roddick again but unfortunately for the Yank, he's on Federer's side of the draw.
And I can't believe Henman has got bloody Tursunov again! Is it fixed? Would've been nice to see him get through a couple of rounds in his last grand slam. Frown

I don't think Djokovic is mentally tough enough to make the final in a grand slam, let alone win one right now. He'll be a great threat for everyone and will probably make it to the quarters, but he's bound to lose his head. Remember what happened in the last tournament he played...

Yep. As soon as he comes up against Nadal he'll fall apart.

I think with all the success he's had recently this year, his mind will be set on getting to the final, and I honestly think he will, and it will go to five sets.

I hope that Rafa gets to the finals, but based upon his past performances at Flushing Meadows (R64, R64, R32, QF), I don't think that he will Frown

Novak has reached R32 twice, which isn't great, but he has acomplished a lot in one year.

Have to agree with you Cate. Rafa knows that he has to be much more aggressive (along the lines of his Indian Wells performance) so Novak might have just stolen the Anti-Fed thunder for now. Frown

Anyways, nice bit of praise from The Fed here!

The Swiss had no doubts about who will be his main rival over the next two weeks.

"Even though now people talk about (Novak) Djokovic, for me Nadal is better, a lot better to be honest," Federer told Reuters in an interview.

"If I don't win the U.S. Open I expect him to win it."
