Aye, Rafa always struggles with anyone who can sustain aggressive tennis for a whole match unless it's on clay.

Gutted. I tried to stay awake, but Rafa doesn't DO short matches, so I only watched the first set.

I didn't watch the match, but you any of you think there's even a remote chance that Ferrer could go all the way?

Nope, I think he just played the match of his life - pretty hard to repeat that form.

I think Ferrer will beat Chela and make it to the semis. If he faces Djokovic there, I'm sure he has a great chance.

Tremendous match from Jankovic and Venus. If only all women's tennis was as good.
Now to see if A-Rod can give Fed a match.
What's sleep?
Arrrgghhh. Some precocious sprog murdering the National Anthem. Thank goodness Wimbledon hasn't adopted
that
tradition!! I need earplugs and an aspirin.

Jankovic won the first set, then fell apart and lost.
Surely not?

My bad, I saw the score in the 2nd set and assumed the 3rd went a similar way. Should have listened to Homer's views on assumptions.
Still, no suprises to see her start strongly, take the 1st set, and eventually lose.
