I'm sorry. I don't get it. Other days, the deadline always was the day after around noon and now Bill was too late? How are we supposed to know that?
I know it's because of the rain... But why? I'm confused.

Are there going to be more matches added to predictions for day 7?

No. None of these matches were completed so we are carrying them over to today. We even have Safin vs Nalbandian from 2 days ago to count. It's still not even finished.

Sorry for the confusion guys. But basically if you remember what happened in US Open: Matchday 2 and 3 - this is exactly the same.

None of the matches that we predicted on Matchday 6 were played so we've carried them onto today. Meaning that there have been no new predictions to make for today. Even the Nalbandian vs Safin match from Matchday 5 hasn't been played yet so this rain is making things a bit confusing.  doh We'll add stuff on as we go along though!

The rain is such a pain, but hopefully if today runs smoothly things will return to normal again tomorrow. Smile

But how come I missed the predictions? I was going to post mine this noon, just like every other day. How come you guys said Bill was too late? I'm still very confused.

But I was on yesterday at that time and there was nothing here. I was here around 11AM and nothing was said about matchday 6 and 7.

Yea indeed Arka Panda.  clap clap That is one excellent prediction!  cmon yeah

Ahhh dear Dana. Smile It's confusing stuff isn't it?

Listen up! (And Andrew - stop making up excuses you noob Razz)

Everyone predicted 5 matches on Matchday 6. There was NO play on Matchday 6 because of the rain so in the sceduale those 5 matches were postponed to today. So instead of trashing those predictions that you guys made - we left the previous day's ones for today i.e. there has only been 5 matches to predict over the course of 2 days (being matchday 6 and 7). Make any sense?

If they were postponed, why didn't those predictions last and instead you guys gave us new matches? So how does that explain I missed the deadline?

I'm really sorry, Julia, but I don't understand it. Something isn't right.

Re: US Open: Matchday 6 and 7 « Reply #39 on: September 03, 2006, 07:58:49 PM »

Not all of the predicted matches were completed for that day so instead of having new predictions for the next day, we just kept the ones from the day before because those matches still had yet to be played...
