Got an absolute bollocking at work! It wasnt really meant to be directed at me but to all the kitchen staff. It was just that I was the only member in at the time. Plus someone blamed me for something, which I didnt do. And I was able to prove i didnt, but the boss didnt care. He's a bit of a bast**d like that! It really got me down a bit, and makes me not want to work tomorrow morning. I dont think criticism works well with me!

Know exactly how you feel. I don't take criticism at work well at all.

Yeah. it really gets me down. Even though I know its not personal. I still feel a bit pissed off. And it just makes me want to get out as quick as possible.

Luckily, he's not really my boss, but the owner. So he dosent interfere to much. The Head chef is probably my boss and he's ok. Really laid back and we get on well. Went to Vegas with him last year. And the Bar Manager is ok too. So its just when the owner comes down that I have to be careful!
Anywqay, I didnt see him today, so it was ok!

I was chatting with a bloke from work who plays tennis and hes got me wanting to play. My my wrist is still dodgy. I need to get a racket thats the right grip size and I need to work on the strength in my arms. I've ordered some wrist and ankle weights from Avon which I'm gonna use AND they are aqua ones so I can use them while swimming too!! Although I'll look like a proper geek but there you go

You should try find a club that does coaching at the weekends for beginners/improvers. It's amazing what a coach can do with a new player's game.

But if you learn the right technique, it will put less strain on your arms/wrist/elbow.
