Also, it was a bit silly accepting Mark as a friend after he publicly stated he would do what he did.

But Mark posted the photos before he had even frequented Neil's FB page.

Secondly, I've never put up any andy muray images, certainly not from Getty.
My point was that you have often posted up photos without getting permission from the copyright holder. Whether it's Andy Murray or not is irrelevant.

Thirdly, If someone gives you something, you should use your judgement in whether to post it up or not. You do not work for the Sun, try and be a bit more sensible.
I agree that it's my responsibility to know whether posting it up would get you upset.

And finally, minutes? HA! if you actually did your job, you wouldn't have posted it in the first place. Not quick enough to allow several people to see it who should not have been able to see it ever.
This has nothing to do with my "job" as no rules were broken.

Your point still stands though, the fact he gave me access after I said what I did could suggest that he woudn't have minded if I went through with it.

first point - such as? I don't believe I have. Unless you are talking about celebrity photos in the public domain with no watermarks and copyright attached. In which, case, obviously. Otherwise, any personal photos I have posted, I either have permission, or it is my camera. Otherwise..... no idea what you are on about.
And you agree it's your responsibility? So when I say "Do not post it up", this means what exactly? That I won't get upset/annoyed.
And final point - fine that's ok.

All those are copyrighted and almost certainly are not legally allowed to be posted on this forum, so I was right.

I don't remember you telling me not to do it before I did... sorry if I missed that, can you quote the post?

I didn't tell you directly, but I made it pretty clear that I didn't want it online. Banning people from photo lists might have given you a hint.  doh

And don't talk pish about the photos, there is a big difference, don't be pedantic.

Of course there is but you brought in the forums T&C on this, not me. I'm simply giving you a valid rebuttal to that post.

I notice you never replied to this though.

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy

I think it somehow invades my privacy. Especially after others said this explicitly.

I didn't feel it was necessary - by it being public domain it is not a privacy issue.

But posting things on someone's Facebook where you have loads of people accessing it is pushing the idea of your privacy being breached. It's not like only you and your partner knew about it and then she came on here and posted up. Whistle
