What's a train/bus?
Scarce commodities out here I can tell you!
Sigh. Too true.
Had to go into Uni today to sort something out with my enrolment so was reminded how much I hate the buses. Attemped to get the 10.25am express bus as listed on the timetable, with a 10.30 normal bus then 10.50 to follow should I miss it. Got to the bus stop in good time at 10.15. No bus turned up until 11.10am. It's been a while as it's holidays, so I had forgotten how much I love catching the bus into the city
Anyway eventually got there and sorted out what I needed to do (ie, go to a certain office and hand in a form explaining what I needed done with it) in less than 5 minutes. Then went to Ticketek office to get tickets for the tennis next week. Managed to get one for the first day, and also wanted to go on day 2 but it was sold out. Guess I waited to long to get tickets. For some reason Ticketek closed all their outlets except the one in the city recently, else I could have gone to the old one near home weeks ago and got better tickets. Anyway got something so looking forward to it.

Oh dear!
Glad you managed to get a ticket for next week - see the ASB ladies one is on normal tv all week - can see the residents tv from where I sit in my office and they've had it on most of today!
Hope the weather keeps up for you - lashings of sun cream
Make all those in the Northern Hemisphere jealous.

Played golf this morning with my brother and his friend at a 9 hole par 3 course near home.
Played once before and I went a whole round with 1 ball. Alas this time I lost 5
In the water 4 times, and out of bounds once
Highlight was recovering to make a 4 after finding the water off the tee. Although its my putting that's the worst. 4 putted the first green
Lot more practice putting and I could easily knock 10 off my score
Afternoon involved playing my newly acquired Top Spin for PS2.

Ah forgot to mention one thing.
On the subject of my dead laptop, my brother answered the phone today and gave it to me saying it was Hewlett Packard calling for me. So I was a bit taking aback by this but then my eyes lit up as I sense a chance to have a rant. Turned out they wanted my opinions on the service I got for their customer satisfaction survey. Perfect
I answered "very dissatisfied" for everything.
How satisfied are you with the repair service you got? - "It was terrible, because it wasnt fixed. It's already packed up again after 3 weeks, very dissatisfied"
What could HP do to improve this service? - "Fix it properly" (this one even made the woman on the phone laugh
)
I felt "very satisfied" after having a rant at the poor woman on the phone
Although slightly annoyed I didn't mention the morons I spoke to on the helplines when I rang up. they always told me "Sorry, I'm not a technical person, I just answer the phones" and they were not much 'help' at all. Ah well

Woke at 0630. Only got a 2 hour sleep. Same sorta stuff. Went to work all that. Missed Andy play. But I am off tomorrow! So I will see it. Also Chelsea in the FA cup tomorrow. Went to the pub at 1630. After work. Had a few pints with a mate. That is really it. Thrilled for Andy!
