I've got a BT Cellnet. It's got an elastic band round it to keep it together. The lady in the street said "i love your retro phone". I had to correct her.

Its something to do with this - "It's on the gain table under "External Speaker: System Tone" which I found on a website but I don't know what that means
Any luck yet? One of the things I only found now was how to turn off the service tone when you lose a network. For some reason that was enabled so whenever I went in/out of a tunnel on the train, it would make a sound. So turned that off today by going into Settings > Network > Service Tone: Off. |

I gave up on that ages ago something happened the other day though, I was typing a text and the volume settings came up from nowhere  I had it on silent too and it still made that annoying loud noise when you turn the volume up or down. |

It doesn't normally do that on my phone though, only seems to happen when I text really fast. It mustn't be able to handle the pressure of my quick fingers |
