Recorded it all over night and have just finished watching. Spent almost 7 hours in front of the tv.
Incredible match between Federer and Nadal. Absolutely amazing. Looking forward to next year's inevitable re-match.
And what about that mixed doubles final? Unbelieveable to see a British player win. What odds would you have got on Jamie being the first from the Murray family to win a grand slam title?

Poor Nadal
Would have liked to have seen him win, but never mind, there's always next year, and Fedex will have lots of 'youngsters' out to topple his crown, Andy included

Totally agree Bev. Nadal will win this one soon. There's a great bunch of 20ish youngsters coming through now.
Just a pity that this has been the worst Wimbledon I can remember. Shoot Andrew whatsisname and bring back Alan Mills (now there's something I never thought I'd say). The scheduling has been a farce.
But a truly epic final, two epic quarter finals and now we all troop over to North America ( body clock wise).

Well I wanted Nadal to win but you have to hand it to Federer... what an amazing achievement. Also big congratulations to Jamie and Jelena - a grand slam title is amazing!

As far as match quality goes, this is probably the best Wimbly I've ever seen, but the rain was absolutely terrible, and the wind on Center Court was nuts... I'm just glad Nadal hasn't won wimbly... Because
if
[/i] that happens, I'll curl up into a ball and not speak to anyone for a month...

Its gunna happen. He got so close to Federer yesterday. If he had taken one of the those 4 break points he had in the 5th i think he would have won.

US Open final re-match anyone?
Pretty hard to imagine Federer not being there, so can Nadal go all the way on the hard court?

For sure! If he doesn't meet Blake, Berdych, Ancic, or any other really good fast court player...

Well he will surely have to meet 1 or 2 en route to the final.
