I don't have a scanner, so I couldn't scan this article from our local Aberdeen Evening Express in. However, the article states that the Promoters, Sky and Andy Murray's representatives have been in discussion re staging a repeat of the Aberdeen Cup this year, and it should be confirmed by April. Great news - especially if your local like me.

You should give Aberdeen a good look too. Really nice city on a sunny day. Can be a little grey and miserable if it rains but contrary to popular opinion, it doesn't actually happen THAT often. After all, we are on the east coast.

That would be the wallace monument in Stirling. It's quite nice actually. I'd definately go to Stirling if I was doing a whistle stop tour of Scotland. It's halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Has a really nice castle too.

Should be easy to do. If we was gonna go straight from Wigan to Aberdeen we would have to get a plane from Manchester because the train will take way to long (4 different trains). But with doing a tour we can get about on a train easily, plus my mates dad works for a train company so she can go anywhere free, so going from Wigan, to Glasgow, to Stirling, to Edinburgh, and then to Aberdeen would be no problem and then money saved can go towards hotels. I reckon we would have to get a flight back from Aberdeen though lol.
