Well he should top the group seeing as he's number 1. But I'll still be very impressed if manages to beat all three of them.
He doesn't need to, that's the point. And who knows, it could mean an easier SF?

If Andy manages to beat Stan, Kei and Cilic in the space of 5 days then he is God.
We all know how Andy thrives on the challenges. Mouth watering stuff!

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

Superb! I bet the atmosphere will be amazing. Can't wait to hear about it, and goes without saying that I hope you witness an Andy win!

A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

Exactly the group I did not want. Lucky Djokovic.

Look at the flip side. What better way for Andy to underline things than getting through this monumental draw? Psychologically, he (Andy) must be in a great place right now. He's taken so many disappointments on the chin to get where he is today, and continued to work and work his way to the top - that's massive. His body language in that third set against Isner? I haven't seen that from Andy before, and that was the body language of someone who truly believes in himself. I'm not fussed about the Joker or his draw. I'm looking forward to seeing Andy going out there and playing one match at a time, with the confidence and belief that's been a long time coming!

Tough draw, that makes a change. Apart from Madrid and US Open can't remember Andy getting any genuinely tough draws.

Well he's had tough draws but they often don't work out like that.

True. But I think overall the draws this year have more than made up for the awful draws in 2014. When it seemed Andy always drew Djokovic in the QF.

I do agree but I do think "luck" evens out over time.

Bit annoyed to still see Djokovic at the front of the lineup on the players picture! Joe, check out the thread opener.

He does not have to beat all three with this format.A few years ago he missed out playing in the semis because of the count back.Knowing Andy he will do his best.Nole draw looks the easiest but hewill no doubt be in trouble there. He still has hiss wrist and elbow injury which does affect his serve. All very interesting. So looking forward to thevweek.Just wish I could be there.Living in cyprus and my husband is not at all well unable to be there.
