The ATP 500 event will be held from 28 September - 4 October and will take place at the Beijing Olympic Green Tennis Centre, a site built for the 2008 Olympics. The venue boasts a 15,000-seat stadium with a retractable roof, named the Diamond Court due to its likeness, and the tennis centre employs space-age air-cooling technology to benefit players and spectators.

Andy lifted the title in 2016 by defeating Andreas Seppi, Andrey Kuznetsov, Kyle Edmund, David Ferrer, and Grigor Dimitrov all in straight sets.

Matches will be shown on Amazon Prime.

No, there aren't.  Andy wasn't down to play here but after losing in Zhuhai got a direct entry into the main draw thanks to a number of players pulling out.

I think worse is that all three Brits are playing those that we may feel they could beat but usually never do!?   

If Dan has a good day he could beat Sinner.  Cam played very well against Karatsev in Zhuhai and was a bit unlucky to lose so narrowly, but think Rublev could be a step too far.  Andy 5th time lucky??  He did come close to beating de Minaur at the Laver Cup last year, so maybe ....

What I find strange with draws is that we see so many repeat contests where we hope for a good result but all the evidence is that they usually do not win that particular contest. Andy should beat the Australian on skill levels but we always seem to see him come up short. I agree with you for the others, but am not expecting any of them to see R2. All are hard matches.

I agree. It's a very high-quality draw and in a sense not bad luck for the Brits because there aren't that many lower-level players in it at all.
