I'm not going to assume Andy will make it to any particular round, but I wouldn't be surprised if Grigor slumps in his next match. He's going to be physically and emotionally exhausted. In fact, all of the players who are supposed to be serious competition in this half are all vulnerable to mixed form, so I don't trust any of them to make it to where they are supposed to be meeting Andy either!
I am pleased for Grigor to have a great win like that. I really thought he'd had it once he'd lost the 2nd set, so fair play to him. Tennis needs someone like him to be a serious challenger against the top players, even if it is just an occasional upset for now. I like him a lot, and I also think it's good that Nole isn't looking too invincible. I don't take any pleasure in any player losing, but I think it's good that it's not just Andy who makes the occasional unscheduled early exit.
