Very interesting Elena.. thanks for the link.
Andy is constantly evolving, proving his incredible determination and focus, and keeps us interested, supportive, and hopeful.
As for the doubters, you're right Ruthie.. even when (when.. not if) he wins one it still won't be good enough for the haters. But who cares about them? It's just 'white noise' to me.
I'm not confident about Wimbles, but I'm ok with that because I'm basing it on his form so far this year, and I'm taking it as he's in transition with the new fh. And in a funny old way, I think I'll be more able to watch him play without going through my usual nervous angst! Altho' that's easy for me to say right now.. there's a distinct possibility that will change when I'm watching.
I'll be delighted to see him get as far as possible, and enjoy watching him on the way.
I feel confident that Andy Murray WILL win his coveted slam, and WHEN he does he will (as Lendl says) "Step through the door." And then it will all be his for the taking.
The Future is Murray/Djokovic.
Book it!

Total product placement but I don't care
I bought the beads and charms because I wanted a bracelet myself. Now I'm just wondering if anyone else wants one to sell off the excess
I've got 3 at the moment, going for £9.99 +p&p.
Also got earrings of the charms if anyone's interested, contact me

Right have had time to think about this now after my initial disappointment at such a potentially tricky and difficult draw.
Negatives
1. Big Hitters
2. Big Servers
3. Potential QF in Ferrer
4. Nadal again…………..
Positives
1. If Andy is 100% focused and pumped up he can after a while of working things out in that chess like brain of his begin to frustrate players with his variety and sometimes brilliance.
2. See above – he can work out the big servers and begin to grind them down, that match against Raonic – he would have won it if had gone to three sets as he was beginning to work out Raonic and his massive serve.
3. Ferrer on grass is a far different prospect to that on clay – also Ferrer had to fight to win that FO match against an opponent who had back troubles and head troubles that day !!
4. That missed forehand last year in the SF must weight heavily on Andy’s mind and I think he wants to atone for that prove to himself he can do it.
5. We all know that Andy Murray over 5 sets is far trickier than an Andy Murray who has started slowly in a three set match – think Gasquet, Haas etc.
So this is going to be not easy but if Andy is 100% we know he loves a challenge and boy this is a challenge!!!! If he were to break his duck here then it is justified – no cakewalk for our man!!!
It is going to be tough but I am with Scotnadian on this one – we have to believe that his game is transitioning to take him to a level par with Djokovic and co.
So for the first time in ages I am working the Wimbledon two weeks – usually am on annual leave but with a bit of creative flexi am hoping to see Andy’s matches.
So to Andy I would say BELIEVE, BELIEVE, BELIEVE AND COME ON MUZZA
To Murrays World I would say we have to BELIEVE AND GET BEHIND OUR MAN – we know it is never straightforward being a Murray Fan but to me the complexity and sheer talent of this young man makes me always want to support him.
So as Doris Day once said QUE SERA SERA, whatever will be will be but I am with you Scotnadian I really think it is a matter of when and not if…..
Good Luck Andy, please bring your Scottish Braveheart to Centre Court over the next two weeks.

Andy’s 4th and qtr final rounds are definitely more work than needed but perhaps it’s best if we just wait and see how things pan out for him as the tournament goes along. Davy might be old but his experience will help him a lot, so I think he’ll put a fight and Andy usually takes time to get into things. In any case, would be nice if Andy closes out in 3.

This is clearly an outstanding piece of work. There must be something wrong with your hearing.
I dunno, first it was your eyesight..you really should go for a check-up.

ChrisMac.. works fine for me. Robbie is using inferior hardware.
Altho' I see he's getting faster on the draw. Must have had an upgrade.

What my fave commie/part-time coach Darren Cahill has to say about Andy's chances at Wimbles. (Long article with his views on other players too, so I just highlighted the 'Andy' bit) :
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/23/sports/tennis/23iht-srwigrass23.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
“Murray does have the best chance, but realistically you can’t really back Murray to win one of these things until he does,” said the coach and analyst Darren Cahill, who has worked with Murray in the past.
“You don’t make four semis or better last year without being good enough to do it at the Slams,” Cahill said. “And I feel like the other big factor Murray has going for him is he still has that No.4 seeding, which is huge because that means he has to go through two of those guys. Everybody else has to go through three of those guys.”
