I think Andy's just toying with them when he serves, letting them get a couple of points, they think they've a chance to break and then he fires the aces down.

GB break and take the final set 6-0.
Job done!
On Andy tomorrow to beat Muller.
Won't be around for that one - have work
Good luck team GB!

Great job, do you know if it is Andy first or James? If James is first on and wins then Andy might not play the 5th rubber.

I'm sure that I've seen the schedule say Andy's on 1st.

Yes, I've just seen that on Eurosport, they aren't putting it on the telly until 7.30pm though for highlights.

LTA have a free livestream (though it didn't work here for me) and it's on livescorehunter, where I watched today

Andy shouldn't play tomorrow. Let Ward do the job.

Both of them played very well. When I saw Vermeer I was surprised. He looks very very young did not look as thought he is 18. Very slight but thought he played very well. Great atmosphere in the area looking forward to tomorrow.

Large storm over the country atm but then it is winter.
Saw the news about the flash flooding in Edinburgh on Friday
I forgot this match started so early so missed it
so thanks for the commentary.
Weather's been dreadful in and around Edinburgh. Two days of thunderstorms and periods of torrential rain, although the news about the flooding here came as a bit of surprise to me, but Edinburgh is built on hills and the areas affected seem to be the parts that are in the valleys, so I reckon that what's been happening is that the rain-water has been running down from the roads on the higher ground and into those areas. It looked bad enough yesterday so I hate to think what it's like after today's downpours. However, I gather Glasgow has been bathed in sunshine. Quite amazing given that the two cities are only about 45 mile apart.
Meanwhile the golf at the Scottish Open, held this year near Inverness, had to be called off for the day because of flooding and a landslide. People in the area say they've never seen anything like it. And it must be really bad because golfers will play in just about any weather - even snow.

Your welcome Aileen, though my commentary wasn't up to much. I think that LB commented that Vermeer played well for Lux and I would agree. I had to chuckle to myself though as I also kept thinking that he looked like someone who had just started high school
Some pretty bad weather about most places atm. An area where TomThoms is was hit by a tornado yesterday
and we were hammered by heavy rain and intermittent thunderstorms.
It is amazing the contrast between weather in one place that seems such a short distance from another.
