Andy Murray at Wimbledon - June 24 - July 7, 2013

I am so missing Wimbledon. I'm practically in mourning.

Me too! I had visitors back again until yesterday, which kept me busy. Now I'm on my own again and could do with Wimbledon to occupy me for a bit. Then again, the DVD's I ordered have just arrived, so I might put one on later Smile.

I re-watched the last few minutes of the match and the aftermatch on iPlayer the other day. My heart rate went crazy during that last game, still! And when Sue Barker said "I don't know if you realise what you've done" I teared up. I wonder if he does, yet? I hope so!

I hope Andy does realise what he's done, and also what it means for so many people.

I still can't get over that atmosphere on CC and the hill. You could feel it coming through the TV, it was amazing. There really was such a sense of real belief that it was Andy's time.

When Sue Barker said 'We've waited 77 years for this', I thought she sounded really choked up. It was a great moment. Watching Andy lift that beautiful trophy and kiss it like that gets me every time.

I missed Wimbledon for the whole week after but now i'm looking forward to the rest of the tour & of course flushing meadows. I think tennis is great in that we don't have to wait that long for another big tournament to come along. We have four world cups in one year & for that i am really grateful!!
