When or if they do, I reckon it would be a quiet, private affair, away from instrusive media. They don't seem the type for fuss.
I never, ever wanted a fancy wedding. Can't stand all the attention, expense and hassle. We ended up arranging our wedding in 3 weeks. It was brill and intimate for each and all.
Good luck to the both of them, whatever road they travel.

Good for you!  So often now it seems that it's all about the wedding and very little about the marriage.

Everyone is different though-just because Andy hasn't married Kim yet, doesn't mean he doesn't love her or isn't committed to her,and we don't know that he doesn't want to marry her. They're both young, and he lived through what was,by all accounts, not the friendliest divorce when he was a kid.We know that left an impact on him, because he's said so!Doesn't mean he won't marry, just that he might not want to do it as fast as others.
Plus,he might actually just want to wait until they have time to do it and enjoy themselves-he has a very, very full schedule during the year, and he trains during off season too.I seem to remember reading in an interview with Jamie that he actually didn't get to take his wife on a honeymoon, because a few days after the wedding,he was playing tennis in some other country! And the scale Jamie plays on is less that Andy's,so presumably it would be just as difficult for Andy to carve out a block of time,if not more so.
Good posting!  Marriage isn't the be-all and end-all of everything - and I speak from painful experience.  Andy has said more than once he doesn't intend to get married before he's 29, and the important thing right now is that he and Kim seem to be quite happy with the way things are.  Fortunately she has her own interests (painting pics of dogs, which she sells) to keep her occupied when he's not around.

Leave them alone - time will sort things out one way or the other.

I don't really care if they do or they don't - the point I was making is that getting married is the natural wish of two people in love and he shouldn't assume that Kim will hang around until he decides to grow up and commit to her. En amour il y a toujours l'un qui baise et l'un qui tend la joue.

Well, presumably being that they've been together for so long, and know each other so well, there's no assuming going on-they've probably talked about their plans for the future together.I mean, after the best part of 7 years,I'd hope they'd be on the same page as each other future-wise!In fact,I just recently read an old interview with Andy from a few years back, and he was chatting about his life, and tennis, and he was clear that as much as he loves tennis,it isn't what his whole life is all about, that he has people he loves, friends he cares about, and that when ready he wants to have a family of his own. That would seem to suggest they've given at least some thought to where they're going!
Also, getting married isn't always the wish of people in love.It is for lots of people, and I myself hope very much to love someone and be married and happy one day.But for plenty of other people, marriage isn't the automatic thing after falling in love.Plenty are simply happy to do as Andy & Kim are doing-live together happily.
Besides, they're still really young! They're 24 and 25!They already live together and share their lives as though they were married. They have all the time in the world ahead of them to decide if they're happy as they are or to marry.

Thats a very good post with which I can't argue. I'm just living in the past.
