I can only find a radio version of the day we won Wimbledon, narrated by Johh Hurt.
And this was the only song I heard around the time you mentioned.
I don't think I'm on the same thing though.
Nope, not that one either. Quite liked that song, though.
Nothing from the forum yet. They're usually a lot quicker than this. Weird. It's not a particularly obscure song, as far as I know.

Yeah, that's the show from last year. There was a doc last night called "When Andy Won Wimbledon." You probably didn't get it where you are. You could get it on iPlayer if you use a proxy, though.

I don't know if its much to go on for you, but the instrumental sounds like something Biffy Clyro might have done, or something I would associate with them.

Hmmm, not sure where to start on their discography.

Is this the doco?
If it is, and it's roughly when Nadal is speaking, it sounds a bit like something off the movie, The Holiday, with Jude Law and Kate Winslet.

Yep, that's the one. And it is around that time.
Looks like I'll be going through the soundtrack for The Holiday.

Its a fairly recent song isn't it? Listening to it again I recognise it too but can't put my finger on it.

Yep, reckon it was released within the last 2 or 3 years.

You'll be pleased to know its bugging me now. Cheers James!
Yahoo Answers are usually quite good at it under the Music > Lyrics section. Maybe try there? Answers are usually fairly quick.

Just a thought, but I wonder if the BBC has a department that works in the area of music editing for documentaries and such.

Probably. For some reason, they sometimes don't actually give credit when they use music, though.
