I thought they would show Andy’s interview but they went to Moscow woman’s match. But you can never give up on Andy because so many times he pulls some magic out of his bag.

If indeed it is a boy I sincerely hope he never shows any aptitude for tennis!
Well, Aileen, if it is a boy and he decides to take up tennis, I'll probs be six foot under by then.  It's being so cheery that keeps me going!  Very Happy

Aileen can you replay the interview and video it with your phone?

As for the interview I'll repeat what I said to Stell -

It was a very positive interview.  Andy saying he never expected to get this far so soon.  Points out that Stan has had his injury problems too, that he's feeling pretty good and hopes tomorrow will be a great match.

No doubt I'll be up the lum myself, hopefully in an independent Scotland!

I've had a good think about that, and I don't see that fighting division with division is at all useful.  I respect your views, but to my mind, we are, as a species, regressing big time.  Any advancement for our future is being undermined by the fat egos that purport to advocate progress, but have us stay in a place where there is little or no advancement.

Anyhow - Andy did great today.

Sorry Apollo I just have a very basic phone, so can't do that.  Hopefully somebody will post it up on the forum.

So 3 pm BST.

I will not be opening a lengthy match thread because I think we're all familiar with Stan and the matches he and Andy have played - which is a great relief to me!  If anyone thinks opening match threads properly is easy then feel free to take over, although hopefully Amongsttheleaves might get back to it next year.

Your input is very much appreciated, Aileen.  Yep we know the drill on this one.
