AO SF - Murray vs Cilic

Quote

I didn't realise Henman didn't admit to suffering from nerves.  It's hard to imagine how you couldn't be nervous in this kind of situation.  For one, it would be very disrespectful to your opponent and, secondly, you'd need to have some nervous adrenaline running through the veins in order to get fired up.  It's good that Andy has acknowledged the nerves.  It says that this is important to him.  Smile

AO 2007, against Gonzo in the final.

Actually, Rafa won Roland Garros in 2008 without dropping a set, he was devastating that year.

Just give church a miss, the Lord will understand. He'll probably be watching the final anyway so won't hear your prayers!

If I wasn't doing  a sketch to get people involved in something then I probably would miss in the morning...as it is I'll hopefully see a good part of the match before going out.

I thought you could tell Murray really fancies another crack at Cilic.  I really can't see any other result than an Andy win if he plays the same way as today.  The US open was painful, andy's shots were landing halfway up the court and Cilic was just stepping in and powering them through Andy into the corners time after time.  It was hard to bear!  Thursday's match couldn't be in greater contrast...Andy has the momentum.  Some bookies now have him as the fav for the Aussie Open...let's hope so!

I can easily see Fed losing tomorrow.  Do not be surprised to see a Davy v Tsonga semi-final!

When Courier interviewed him, did Andy suggest he would play the same way as today? Please tell me he did. I can't bear any more of that passive crap.

He said something along the lines of Im gonna go for my shots, cos when you let him dictate play he is dangerous. And If he plays like he did today he has a good chance of winning that match.
