It's weird/ incredibly nerve-racking to think that Murray us getting up about now and preparing for his match.....
Well I am certainly enjoying the fact that I can get a good nights sleep and get up and watch it...I've told my mum that the housework and shopping will get done...but only after Andy's match

Hmmm that gives me an idea, if I go into school with a signed note, do you think the teachers will let me have livescores open on my phone...?? Getting the signed note could be a challenge but still....

Come down with a 'sicky bug' the sort of 24 hour one that means not school but that you're still capable of watching tv

My manager came up to me earlier and said "Alistair, can you work at 2 tommorow?"
Me: "Yeah, sure..."
2 minutes later
"Shit... make it 3?"
Haha, I don't trust Murray to be over by before 1!

And because the NHS are crap the computer probably won't even let me check to see how Andy is getting on

It's losing potency after my 'sunstroke' around Wimbledon time...
(but seriously I did get sunstroke, I was forced to play tennis on the hottest day of the year!! And also WHO in their right minds stages a school tennis tournament at the same time as Wimbledon???)
And I can't really afford to miss geo tomorrow, but ironically from 2.15-4 I could miss as it's only sport...

If
he were to lose, it would depend on why. If for some reason he reverted to pushing rather than playing the excellent attacking tennis he's played so far this year, he'd get panned - and rightly so.
Don't think it does this time.
Any Cilic win annoits him as a future dominator and at the same time suggests Murray's missed his chance. Cilic is in his first major SF and Murray's been on court 60% of the time Cilic has so I doubt he's ever going to get a better chance of beating him in a hard court Major if he blows it this time.

Actually teaching first thing tomorrow. At least on Tuesday I wasn't teaching till 11. And no, if I were the teacher, not even a signed note would get you round the no mobiles rule, not even for Andy scores. It's about being consistent with rules. If you're not consistant your whole discipline system falls apart. However, I would look up the livescore for you at the end of class. I'd be looking for it for me anyway!

Ah, work tomorrow - but no meetings, so I shall be sitting in my office watching the BBC stream. There may be the odd audible "YES!" or "AARGH!"...

I am actually considering not watching the first few sets of Federer-Tsonga. The latests I have got up for ages is about 8.30am. And even on holiday we were up at 9am the weekend before.
Pity my life, please

From the sounds of the staff room on Tuesday breaktime there will be a lot more than just me keeping an eye on it tomorrow. I think you'd be surprised how many teachers would be just as interested as you if you just ask. Mind you, I'm actually relying on my kids to keep me distracted for the first couple of sets.
Other thing you can do is get someone to text you sets and breaks. Much easier to check texts quickly than livescores. Although I shouldn't be encouraging you. Asking and being totally open is definitely the way to go! x

Haha yeah I was coming back from Uni the day of the Wimbedlon final. It was either a case of leave at 9am after our graduation ball (no gonna happen, I was blottoed, blarttered...) or force my friends to watch it in their house haha.
In the end I just left at about 12 and got my mum to send me updates etc. I only missed about 2 sets so it worked out well.
