 Hello to all and Just LOVE this website.Can anyone confirm that del Potro has decided not to play any tournies leading up to the AO? I have been looking at the ATP site and he doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the forthcoming tournaments. A pity but Grrrrreat news for Andy's seeding for the AO if it is the case!

Interesting... I can't find anything on this, where did you hear about it? I thought was pretty much guarenteed that Andy would be seeded 5th after the Masters in London.  |

Andy will be seeded 5th whatever happens as both of them are not playing ATP tourneys will week. The seedings are decided on next week's rankings.

It MUST be 2 or 3 years since the top 4 has beeen split up! Just like the Premiership haha.

Must be 5th this Monday to affect the Aussie seedings. Think the top 4 has been Fed/Nadal/Djok/Muzz since he reached the US Open final, September 2008. |

Andy will be ranked 5th on Monday coming (and hence seeded 5th). At the start of the AO Andy will then be ranked 4th again.

If he gets Novak or Del Potro in the quarters, he then gets Rafa or Roger in either order. That could potentially mean 15 exhausting sets of tennis. Omens dont look good, especially with his record recently in 4/5 setters.
