A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

The tennis gods do not seem to be on the side of the British players. Tough, tough, tough first round.

This is the scenario he tried to avoid by trying to get a top 32 position.

Thanks Aileen. It seems that that over the years the years have never been on Andy’s side. I enjoy watching a lot of the other players but don’t think I can face another Groundhog Day final.

It's a tough match, but Berrettini is hardly setting the world on fire at the moment.
He often looks under par when I watch him, and always needs to serve well to be in matches.
If Murray plays well he's got a chances. But like others have said, his serve needs to be in good shape.

The schedule of play is out for Monday, and Andy's match isn't down on it.
The Brits who will play are Emma Raducanu, Harriet Dart, Cameron Norrie, Kyle Edmund and Jack Draper

Thanks for the article, Aileen. Andy feels confident, and no one knows better than he how he will face this tough opponent. So, I believe Andy, I believe, good luck and great vibes to you.

Andy obviously doesn’t see himself pasta the sell by date and therefore fancies winning a big pizza of the action in this match and so I think he’ll take a Grappa of the match early on and defeat the ITI by 3 sets to 1 so hence I’m gonna bet a pretty penna on oor Andy winning
P.s I know , I know this is dreadful but if one person laughs in this day and age then
