Australian Open R2: Andy Murray vs Taro Daniel

Quote

Andy now plays 28 year old qualifier world No. 120 Taro Daniel (career high 64 in 2018).  The two have met once before and that was in the first rubber of the Davis Cup world group GB vs Japan in 2016 with Andy winning comfortably in straight sets.  However while Andy had a gruelling five set match against Basilashvili on Tuesday, Daniel enjoyed a more straightforward win beating fellow qualifier Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera 7-6, 6-1, 6-1.  His biggest win came at Indian Wells in 2018 when he defeated Djokovic, who was returning after elbow surgery, 7-6, 4-6, 6-1.

The match is scheduled for last on John Cain not before 6:30 am GMT

They are not showing Andy’s match they are showing the Cain Arena but just playing music. Gotta figure this out. I see that Andy on the live update is down a break.

Good luck Andy boy, you can win this. I believe.

my score says Daniel serving has 4 and Andy has 3, so what score do you have?

I could only see the last two games, and I did not like what I saw. Andy very passive. Into set 2, with a better outcome, I hope. Following live score from now on.
