Pretty much like your posts then.   You could just as easily have said "clearly Dani values his "improving" coaching wondrous (note spelling) career over friendship."   Trolling?

He may not want to know what Dani is doing with Tomas - we still don't know the ins and outs of the professional parting - could be Dani walked and Andy had wanted him to stay and he is hurting that way - I guess we'll never know

Dani btw is NOT that active on Twitter

Friends don't need to tweet. I followed Dani and he never tweeted Andy or vice versa. I would sometimes send good wishes to Andy and the team via Dani as he didn't have many followers, also did the same with Ross who would often reply. Far too much is being made of this whole tweeting business, and as to the comments made re Andy by Connor and BHS they are dreadful. Well said Iluvandy.

It's a bit much to say that Andy values tennis over friendship.  There has been plenty of evidence over the years to contradict that opinion.  He has proven himself to be a loyal and kind friend time and time again.  It's disrespectful to suggest otherwise.  I always like to keep in mind that someone connected with Andy, or even Andy himself, could be checking this site at any time and so I try to only say what I would say to him directly. 

Would you disrespect Andy if you knew he was reading your posts?

For what it's worth, I'm not yet convinced you're a troll, although the jury's out.  I can't make up my mind if you are deliberately setting out to provoke an emotional response from people or if that's an unintended consequence of your emotional posts but what is clear is that your posts are provocative and you don't appear to have done anything to acknowledge that or try to correct it.  If I knew I was upsetting folk I would attempt to temper my responses or I would have moved on by now.  I think you like to just blurt out what you're thinking without pressing the internal censor button and that can upset people.  The question is, do you care?

Anyway, I don't want to derail this discussion with yet another 'pull-the-negatives-up-about-their-posts' discussion but I'm new here and have been reading this upset for a while.  Some of the posts on here have been downright offensive and people need to reign it in a bit.  I just wanted to acknowledge it.

If it turns out that their friendship has been a casualty of their professional relationship then that will be a great shame and I'll be sad and then I'll move on.

thanks for your sane and to the point post db @10.02am.  As someone who has deliberately kept off twitter I'm not sure what to make of 'unfollowing' dani but couldn't one just as well say that Dani has put tennis (and his career) above friendship by signing up with Bird such a close rival of Andy's in the current rankings?  And Andy has always struck me as someone who has been very loyal to and supportive of his male friends - one of the things I like about him.

Don't blame him if that was the case (which I doubt). The tactics she told Andy to use annoyed the hell out of me, never mind his team who had to sit there and witness him get 0&1'd by Federer using no tactics what so ever but to randomly hit the ball.

inb4 any assumption he played like that because of the surgery.
