Cincinnati Masters.

If Fed withdraws- Andy can make it to the QF's and beyond.

If not- Andy exit in 2nd round.

i know its not nice but its the luck of the draw ... should be good to watch, i think Tim may attack the net more this time

Andy still has the weapons and variety to beat Tim. I cant see anything else than a Murray win I'm afraid. Would like Tim to prove me wrong though Smile

Maybe Tim will do this then:

"I only started playing my best tennis when I really had nothing to lose, and once I opened my shoulders and became more aggressive I found it a lot easier to play the majority of rallies on my terms.

"Obviously, if I'd converted the set point [in the second set] my chances would have improved dramatically, and the fact that I missed a relatively easy shot makes it a lot harder to swallow.

"Somehow I've got to try and win matches like those and get myself involved in the business end of some of the major events, which will obviously help my ranking.

"That will certainly be the goal next week in Cincinnati."

He did make a vast improvement in the second set. Good luck to Tim, shame that the winner has to play Federer (if he plays)

I think the 3rd time round will be much tighter for Henman and Murray, that's if Murray doesn't pull out, I mean if Andy gets to the final then I am sure he would want time to recuperate, he has had some tough and gruelling matches in the last two weeks, the lad deserves a break don't you think Think.

ranting ranting No i cant believe it Tim vs Andy next week again  ranting ranting

In Washington we were so gutted it wasn`t an all Brit semi-final then we got the long awaited re-match this week 2nd rnd, Then once again, Big tournie, Lots of points to be gained and they have to meet in the first round Frown

In saying that personally i think if its a Murray v Federer final this week i can`t see them playing next week which would be a blessing for Tim. It just depends though i would advise it for Federer as he has been looking quite out of sorts this week, He could be burning himself out.

I also think Greg could maybe get a couple of matches under his belt if he can get past Ljub  Whistle

If Andy could lose to anyone- then I would rather it be Tim. I am not saying I prefer Tim over Andy  Wink
