That's a terrible draw  Crying or Very sad

I think he'll get past Tim, but Federer, that's a different prospect entirely Frown

Imagine if he did beat Fed though  :P Maybe he'll do it in the Toronto final first  Wink

Well the OOP is out, and he's not playing tomorrow! Neither is Fed.

Thats good for Andy, gives him an extra day to get used to the courts and conditions etc

And one extra day to work on that blasted serve of his with Brad.

I am no expert, but I would say one day to practice serve makes no difference at all... unless the problem is mental, in which case the breakthrough can happen at any time.

Yeah, he definitely needs to sort that out. Im not even sure as to why it has become such a problem. He used to have a beast of a serve and was alot more consistent with it.

I disagree, the courts could be playing loads slower than the ones in Toronto, therefore he'd need to adjust to adapt to the conditions. An extra day on the courts would sure be benefical.

I wasn't being serious just expressing the desperate need for that to be sorted. But Chris is right about one extra day to just practice on the court, that would probably be helpful.

Cincy is slightly faster than Toronto - it has less paint on. They gradually up the speed and then the USO is the fastest...

And Federer will be playing  Crying or Very sad But we'll see how Andy matches up with the world number 1. Then again, Timmy first :P

I agree that one day is beneficial to get used to the court, but I don't think it will help much with improving the serve - that needs consistent work over time doesn't it?

Cincy is supposed to be the second fastest after the us open... but humidity could slow the ball down quite a bit... so it all depends on the weather...

Meh, poor performance against Haas by Verdasco.  Think
