I have just reached home. Following livescores was awful, but certainly easier than watching. My feeling is that the courts are so slow that a clay courter has a real chance here.

^ I agree. Now a set too late he is looking as if he wants to win but he has not helped that cause by some indifferent play to help his opponent.
At present it is Good game plan v No game plan. I hope it changes. Comms think it could suddenly change. He plays best when behind but at some time you have to be in front to win!

Phew! Back on terms. And Cachin's level definitely dropped a bit, his serve was less of a weapon in the last few games. Good to see Andy able to pounce when it counted.

^ I think the difference is that Andy is now playing back between the service and base lines, not short as in first set, so he is not allowing the Argentine so much time to play positively.

This does not bode well. Andy allows C to play more aggressive tennis and he himself is so up and down.
