"He gonna have many chances for be number 1, no?"

"He will for sure win a Grand Slam soon, no?"

Surely federror has to get it together and win that one, combined 8 winners and 20 errors in 9 games, shocking.

'I for sure, think Bogdanovic will be top-5, no?'

lol

I'm not even sure Rafa is generous enough to say that.

Having said that, after his Queens match with Nishikori he said Nishikori would be top 5 soon!

My favourite Rafa line was when he lost to Fed in the 2007 Wimbledon final, and quoted Shakespeare in coherent Queen's English.

'Tis better to be vile than vile esteemed,
When not to be receives reproach of being,
And the just pleasure lost, which is so deemed
Not by our feeling, but by others' seeing.
For why should others' false adulterate eyes
Give salutation to my sportive blood? No?'

I wonder what Rafa is like in private? He is so humble and, dare I say it, boring in his interviews and in praising other players. Don't get me wrong, I think it's the right way to go and I'm glad that Andy seems to be copying it (we've seen the stick that Federer has got recently for his ungracious comments), but how much of it is genuine? He seems such a nice guy, but I wonder if he's a total bastard away from the cameras and microphones?

Nah, I think he's the model professional, I don't get how Federer wins these sportsmanship awards. no

I personally think Andy looks up to Rafa.

I think a lot of it is just nonsense for the sake of having an easy life. Having said that, he has been less humble since becoming number 1. Ever so slightly more inclined to make excuses for a loss.

Thanks Jan, hope it is possible as would be good to see this match done today. Also, if it is possible then it suits me down to the ground as it means I can actually watch the damned thing from the comfort of my living room! lol

Wimbledon is going to be awesome this year, I can just imagine Andy taking on Rafa on Centre under the new roof as monsoon-like conditions continue outside!
That would be a wow of a match but, one year it is definitely a possibility - Andy will provide some super Wimby tennis over the years. Sorry you can't watch it at home.

Not crazy about that wind. Probably gonna be a scrappy match.

I was quite surprised by his comments after he lost to Del Pony in Miami the other week. Very ungracious compared to his normal musings!

Yeah, same here actually. Didn't like his comments after his loss to Andy at the US Open either.

From perhaps a feminine point of view - no-one with a smile like that could possibly be evil.
