Andy asking the umpire 'aren't we stopping?' FFS

Why, is it raining again?

Think Fabio will crumble now - I thought the way he demolished Cilic it would be tough and have a tie-break!

The slower the surface, the more likely you'll see a higher error : winner ratio. Smile

As you say, it's the early rounds, yadda, yadda, yadda. Wink

Fed out as well, brill.

Yes the longer it takes to finish the point meaning the harder it is potentially to win that point.

There are so many factors determining the quality of a match, I vote we settle this later. whip

Feel sorry for Rafa/Lapentti and Nalbo/Davy.

Quick question to everyone, does anyone here rank clay as their favourite surface?

I prefer hardcourts.

No frigging way, I try to appreciate it as it's an interesting surface, but I don't like the fact that it produces specialists. Can produce some very entertaining matches, but not as often as it should.

There was a loud rumble in the sky a few points before that but no it's not. I think Andy just wants to get off. Think

I like the unpredictability of the results and the long rallies, but it doesn't allow for as much variety in playing styles.

I agree, grass has it's specialist field as well, but the grass season lasts like a month, the clay season lasts 2 months and has 3 MSs, and that's just the European swing! You have all the South American ones at the start of the year, and some more clay tournaments after Wimbledon like Kitzuhbel and Umag, madness.
