GSM AM 6-2, 6-3. Drop shot to finish A couple of wobbles but pretty comfortable in the end. Possible 3rd round v. Raonic. Very interesting Neil Harman
Great job Andy.

Glad that he seemed to get through this without his usual first match rubbish performance. I'm confident of he going far now, although the potential QF with Berdych could be a nail-biter.

Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

. Brilliant . Just got in and was nervously getting on line. Sounds like a pretty comprehensive victory so hopefully that has put to bed any idea of a repeat of last year. Sounds like it was despite the serving rather than because of it so I guess he needs to sort that out if he's going to play Raonic next. Still the main thing is that he's through to next round. Well done Andy.

Phew! Looks like he did it slightly the hard way as usual, but relieved to see Andy lay the ghost of one of last year's early defeats to rest.
I take it if there was no televising at all, there wont even be highlights on Sky tomorrow either? Hate paying a monthly subscription just to see emperor fed strut about.

My Pleasure! With no stream, there's plenty of time for tab hopping and keeping up with the tweets! Mike Dickson: AM wins it with drop shot, 63 in 2nd. 76 minutes. Good hurdle to get over. A 7 out of 10 probably. Maybe Raonic next.

1st serve % was 53%. Not ideal, but it's a start .. I have to go now and get on with some other work. Catch you all tomorrow or Sunday. Get to bed Bev and have some shut eye . Sweet dreams from sunny Oslo.
