So John Isner stands between Murray and a place in a GS quarter final. And people were saying this was a tough draw. Murray in 3 - perhaps with a tie break somewhere.

I don't think Isner should be underestimated, he's riding high on a wave of confidence, Murrays gonna need to have top concentration from the start I think.

I'd love it if was as easy as it was for Federer against Karlovic at Wimbledon, feels more like another Murray/Roddick from Wimbledon last year sadly.

This is tough. Isner is capable of beating Andy. He's unbeaten this year. Just won a tournament.

This is going to be very, very tough indeed. Serra has hit 78 aces in 6 games so far this year. Murray is going to have to return like a god and not throw away sloppy service games.
50/50 on this one.

I think Andy will drop a set in this one, maybe the 2nd as if he gets the 1st he might take the pace off slightly (which he does when he gets ahead). Just needs to have a solid service of his own the whole way through. Andy in 4

I wouldn't say it's 50/50. Let's not go mental.

Hopefully it's a 12am start our time, as Isner will struggle in the heat from accumulated fatigue from matches over the past two weeks and his serve won't be as effective as it would be during the night.

Well if it's in the night for us I can watch it, if he gets an evening match then I won't see it until late Sunday night. If that's the case someone is going to let me know the result

It's 2013!

I think Isner will definetely trouble Andy for a set or 2 but Andy will have worn him down and the fatigue/tiredness will eventually catch up with Isner.

I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Andy will take this in straights. Isner is just the kind of freak opponent Murray loves, cos his freakishness gives Murray's tennis-computabrain an angle to exploit. He'll return well, hit with loads of slice that Dr Isner can't get down to, move him around and turn him like a spinning top. 7-6 6-4 6-1.
