Can't see him making any inroads in London now, I think he just wants the season to finish.

He just didn't find what it takes today to win another match. Stepanek has played it solid, but done nothing special. It's Andy who lost this match. Just couldn't recover enough from yesterday's match after having won a tournament last week too. So what does that tell us? I'm not sure to be honest if he will ever be able to win a slam...  Somehow I have a bad feeling about it..

I hate to think that but I'm afraid it could be true. He really used to be a breath of fresh air. He had an attitude about him he doesn't seem to find as anymore as much as he needs to ... especially on the big occasion when it really counts...

Of course he won't win a slam. The same failings are present in his game. He's content to just push the ball around and has done nothing to alter that. he'll be a solid fixture in the top ten, but there's a very real possibility that he's now peaked. There are too many good players with agressive shot making ability that can nutralise his pushing.
