Indeed - all the top players look knackered at this time of year.  Let's hope they can all, Andy included, find a last burst of energy to see them through the WTF.  It would be a shame if the No 8 in the world won it just because the others are too tired to play properly.

He's just a solid top ten player and really, there's nothing wrong with that.  He'll make a good living.

Yeah he just doesn't seem the same guy as who, in Dubai, earlier this year looked truly unstoppable.

I despair when I see Agassi/Becker/Sampras delivering the old soundbite 'He's going to win lots of majors', or 'he's going to dominate once Federer and Nadal are gone'.

They've been questioned by the British media, and are telling them what they want to hear.

I still believe Andy will win a major, perhaps two. I think 2010 and 2011 are do-or-die. Like Nadal, I can't see Andy playing at the top level for long, he does far too much running.

He has won 4 Masters events in the past year and 13 titles since he turned pro. You tell me how many other solid top ten players have done that.

Do you deliberately bait people or are you really that stupid?

You do not win as many events as Murray and 4 Masters if you are a solid top 10 player, nor do you routinely spank the player most consider the greatest to ever pick up a racquet.
