Andy can win if he does two things: Get's his fecking first serve in! and If he stops playing so defensively....
He simply just wasn't on form in that match, there is no point criticising it.
In the last set we then saw the normal Murray, the one that attacks intelligently and more often.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

I wasn't criticising it. Just pointing out what he needs to do. It was obvious that getting himself stuck 6 feet behind the baseline was killing him...

I thought that to begin with but I think he wanted to stay in the shade and if you look at it that way then it was a good tactic, if the heat and sun wasn't so strong then no doubt he would of been more in the baseline challenging the serve and thats what he done in the last set because the sun died down and it got cooler. I thought it was clever tactics from Murray because if from the start he challenged Verdasco's serve then the heat would of been more on him and he would of got more fatigued, thats the good thing about Murray, he can experiment on things and still win matches, hats off to him.

It's true that he wanted to stay in the shade... But look, either you play in the shade and take 2 hours 50 minutes to beat a guy, or you play agressively and completely smash them, making your match short...

I'll get an hour. Let's hope he's up at least a set and a break by then. Coulple of sets if he's dishing out the bagels and the breadsticks again.

We're going to the cinema tomorrow and hoped that Andy wouldn't be on in the afternoon

It's good that its on at night for Andy! Wish it had been on Vodafone but no worries. I think Murray will take it in 3 or 4! The Verdasco match was just a freak poor performance from him. Normally he would of gone out, but its the new and improved Andy we have. So we really haven't seen him play bad in a slam and still win, so hopefully he can destroy Chela next.
