You could easily have written a VERY similar article the other way around:
"Andy Murray, the brilliant yet erratic Scotsman (could be) known as the Microwave because of an ability to suddenly produce a hot streak, stands between Richard Gasquet and a place in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.
Gasquet meets the eleventh seed on Centre Court tomorrow. Gasquet reached the semi-finals here last year, and has a 2-0 record in head-to-heads, so will fancy his chances. Murray was not impressive in defeating German veteran Tommy Haas - who had never been beyond the fourth round and has just come back from long term injuries - 6-4 6-7 6-3 6-2 on Centre Court.
Murray, from Dunblane in Scotland, is only 21 but seems to have been around a long time. He has promised much throughout his career but has too often faltered. Yesterday he gave a typically inventive but patchy display.
Against Haas, he dropped the second set, when it appeared easier to be win it. Murray failed to win the match in straight sets and his main failing was a faltering serve."
etc
Okay it may not be quite as applicable to Murrays' current form compared to Gasquet - but we're talking a 2% difference in just 1 match. There's so little to choose between them in terms of form, talent, style and their overall careers...
Although Im boring enough to despise 'gut feelings'*I am agreeing with Mark's - who reckons Murray could just find his way to the final!
*At worst I believe gut feelings are just someone's brain analysing all the variables of a situation in a sort of subconcious way
