This is fantastic... Murray has a massive chance to now take his second title... what an awesome start to the year that would be.

Andy in 2, 6-4 6-4.

I bet we have at least one tiebreaker.  Karlovic tends to play in  a lot of tiebreakers because his serve is so hard to break.  I would be surprised if we have 7-6, 7-6.

How will Murray's game match up to Karlovic's?

The key is obviously going to be Karlovic's serve. If it's off I think it will be over quick.

If it's on then it will be a case of if Andy can get it back consistantly enough to be in the points. I can't say I have seen him play or in fact seen him but I would imagine with long arms the ball is going to come from an unbeleiveable height.

It may take Andy a while to get used to it but you have to think he will have enough to win this.

Andy in 2 for me!

When the then Scottish football manager Ally McLeod was asked by journalists what he would be doing after the 1978 world cup finals, he responded in a typically up beat fashion “retain it!”

I’m a born optimist, I believed in Ally then and I believe in Andy Murray now.

As I said in January it has to be Andy

Karlovic has proved to be a real handful with his stratospheric serve, but Andy can read serves as well as if not better than most on the tour.

Andy to beat this one trick pony in three and a very impressive 10-0 record in San Jose!!!!!!!! trophy

Hope your prediction is "on the money"I think Andy does quite well playing the big servers,I'm sure Brad will have a master plan it would be great if it was a Murray double,Andy in the singles and Jamie in the doubles Come on the Murray brothers.

Surface hugely favours Karlovic, but Andy is just too classy for him. I would say Murray in 2 close sets. Smile

I think it will be two not so close sets. 6-2, 6-1 or thereabouts for me. Murray is beginning to hit form this week he upped his game v Roddick.

p.s. there is no doubt that fuzzyballs is a pseudonym for one of the +10,000 posters on here, bit rubbish because they only show their fuzzyballs face when Andy is losing and their normal face when Andy is winning, not much hope of being wrong there. Still I enjoy seeing less of fuzzyballs over the years as Andy's win-loss record improves by the tournament. When Andy's ATP win-loss record is 550-130 and fuzzyballs' win-loss record is 0-0 we will all wonder who won in their little private battle.

I have a feeling Muzzah will come from a set (close tiebreak) down and batter him in the next two sets, comfortably breaking him early and holding easily.. Somethings like 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.  bigbounce
