Yes, but its not the denotations that are important - its the connotations of the word 'rape'. Its what you think of when you hear/read the word, not its literal dictionary definition.
I'm sorry, I find it offensive - maybe thats just me, but still.

Difference is: 'Slaughtered' is only officially defined by the act of killing. 'r****' has officially several definitions. So I'm starting to side with TCK now... And yet it's mostly referring to a situation where such killing is "brutal". Like eira_arian said, it's the "connotations". |
